District 7 supports Sally.

Thanks to all who voted in the 2015 primary election, Sally received over 76% of the vote in this three-way race.

Next step, the general election, this coming November 3.  Sally continues to be out in her community every day, meeting with neighbors, businesses, and hearing about issues that matter.

Even though Sally received the majority of the votes, her name will appear on the November ballot.  You will get your opportunity to vote for Sally again (and she thanks you in advance for doing so and encouraging your neighbors to vote too!)

NEXT CAMPAIGN EVENT:  SEPTEMBER 17, 5:30 P.M.  JOIN SALLY AND MANY OF YOUR FAVORITE ARTS AND CULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS.  PLEASE RSVP!

Bagshaw Sept 17

SALLY’S BACKGROUND.

First elected to Seattle City Council in 2009, Sally Bagshaw received over 69% of the vote during the general election. Sally, now known as Councilmember Sally Bagshaw, officially took office on January 4, 2010, and she has spent five years working as YOUR Councilmember.  For more details, please see the About Sally section of this site.

That hard work paid off. On November 6, 2013, Sally was reelected to office with an overwhelming 84% of the vote. Her new term is unique: it is only for two years as opposed to the previous four year term. Because of the successful passage of City of Seattle Charter Amendment No. 19, City Council will have district representation beginning in 2016.

 Campaign Endorsements are Rolling in!

Sally is grateful for the broad support she has received from labor, business, women’s pro-choice organizations, environmental supporters as well as hundreds of neighbors.  Please see the Endorsement section for a full list.  There is still time to endorse if you haven’t already.  Your name is important.

Sally has been knocking on doors and meeting with neighbors.  District 7 is Sally’s home and she would like to meet with you and your neighborhood organization too.  If you want to arrange a get together, please contact her at the campaign address or phone below.

District 7  includes Downtown to Discovery Park, Queen Anne to Magnolia, Uptown, Belltown, South Lake Union and Pioneer Square.  If you want to join Sally at an upcoming canvassing event, please volunteer on this website.

Yes, changes are coming but one thing remains for sure. Sally will continue bringing people together to find solutions and work for the best interest of the city and District 7 neighborhoods.

Thank you for your interest and for your continued support.

Please make sure you are registered and be ready to vote November 3, 2015.
