Elected to Seattle City Council in 2009, Sally Bagshaw received over 69% of the vote during the general election. Sally, now known as Councilmember Sally Bagshaw, officially took office on January 4, 2010 and she has been working hard as your Councilmember ever since.
During her first two years, Sally led the Parks and Seattle Center Committee. She currently chairs the Parks and Neighborhoods Committee and serves as vice-chair for the Housing, Human Services, Health and Culture Committee and is a member of the Libraries, Utilities and Center Committee. If that weren’t enough, Sally co-vice chairs the Central Waterfront, Seawall, and Alaskan Way Viaduct Replacement Program Special Committee. And those are just her internal committees!
Yes, that is quite the list: Parks to Housing, Seattle Center to Central Waterfront, and what seems like everything in between. That embodies Sally, who she is and what she does. She is dedicated to make Seattle a better city for all of us. That means making every neighborhood safe, improving bus service and fixing the potholes wherever you live, and supporting our educational institutions from kindergarten on. If the issue is important to you, chances are, it is important to her.
Sally is your representative on City Council and she wants to continue working for you, and more importantly, with you. And with your help, we can reelect Sally Bagshaw in 2013.
Thank you for your interest and for your continued support.
